Centre for Disaster Resilience, Recovery and Reconstruction
About the centre
The Centre for Disaster Resilience, Recovery and Reconstruction (CDRRR) is hosted by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at The University of Auckland, New Zealand.
The Centre for Disaster Resilience, Recovery and Reconstruction (CDRRR) seeks solutions to complex problems in disaster resilience, recovery and reconstruction through integration of research, policy and practice and fosters collaboration between researchers, policy makers and practitioners through information sharing and integration of activities.
CDRRR’s core purpose is to act as a centre of expert knowledge and to facilitate the flow, interaction and creation of knowledge across multi-disciplinary networks and groups.
CDRRR brings together expertise from across the University of Auckland’s faculties and schools, as well as from a broad range of collaborators within New Zealand and internationally.
CDRRR creates a national and regional focal point for research, graduate training and continuing education in the fields of disaster resilience, recovery and reconstruction.
