Research focused on developing new forms of construction contracts, and management or people through the construction life-cycle including clients, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders.
Construction management is a profession with roots in many disciplines, including engineering, law, architecture, management and computer science. The researchers in this field use skills from each of these disciplines to analyse and apply general management techniques such as quality assurance, human resources and risk management to the construction industry. They also develop and design new tools and techniques which are useful for management of construction projects and companies in the industry.
