Jason Ingham graduated from the University of Auckland with his BE with Honours in 1989 and his ME with Distinction in 1991. He graduated with his PhD from the University of California at San Diego in 1995 and then returned to the University of Auckland as a member of the academic staff in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Jason completed a postgraduate diploma in Business Administration in 2002 and an MBA in 2005, both from the University of Auckland.
Jason is currently the Deputy Head of Department (research) and is engaged in two large government funded research projects as the Principal Investigator of a study on seismic assessment and retrofit of buildings and as the objective leader on the seismic response of Whareuku stabilised rammed earth buildings.
